Create and Customize Your Email Signature

Give your Veteran10 emails a personal or professional touch with a customized email signature. You can include your name, contact information, a personal message, a company logo, or a photograph.

Veteran10 Webmail supports HTML signatures, allowing you to format text, add links, and insert images directly into your signature.

1. Open Your Email Signature Settings

  1. Sign in to Veteran10 Webmail here: Webmail
  2. Click Settings (gear icon) in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Identities.
  4. Click your email address to open its settings.
  5. Scroll down to the Signature section.

This is where you can create, edit, or remove your email signature.

2. Create Your Signature

You can create a simple text signature or a more personalized signature with formatting and images.

  1. In the Signature section, select HTML rather than Plain text.
  2. Enter the information you would like included in your signature.
  3. Use the formatting toolbar to adjust fonts, sizes, colours, alignment, and other options.
  4. Add links to your website or other appropriate online resources.
  5. Click Save when finished.

Example:

Customer Service
Veteran10.com
Your Service. Your Identity. Your Email.

You can keep your signature as simple or detailed as you prefer.

3. Add a Logo or Photograph

Veteran10 Webmail allows you to upload images directly into your HTML email signature.

  1. Open your signature under Settings → Identities → Your Email Address.
  2. Select the HTML signature editor.
  3. Position your cursor where you want the image to appear.
  4. Click the Insert Image icon (small picture symbol) in the formatting toolbar.
  5. In the Select Image window, click Add Image.
  6. Choose a logo or photograph from your computer.
  7. Select the uploaded image to insert it into your signature.
  8. Click Save.

Important image requirements:

  • Maximum image file size: 64 KB.
  • PNG images are supported.
  • Use a small, properly sized image for best results.
  • Avoid oversized photographs or graphics that make your signature unnecessarily large.

A compact company logo or small personal photograph generally works best.

4. Automatically Include Your Signature

You can configure Webmail to insert your signature automatically whenever you compose an email.

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Composing Messages.
  4. Set Compose HTML messages to Always.
  5. Under Signature Options, set Automatically add signature to Always.
  6. Click Save.

Your signature should now appear automatically when composing new messages.

Additional options allow you to control signature placement when replying to or forwarding messages.

5. Change or Remove Your Signature

You can update your signature whenever you wish.

  1. Return to Settings → Identities.
  2. Select your email address.
  3. Make your changes in the Signature editor.
  4. Click Save.

To remove your signature completely, delete its contents and save your changes.

You can also disable automatic signature insertion under Preferences → Composing Messages.

6. A Few Helpful Signature Tips

  • Keep your signature reasonably short and easy to read.
  • Include only contact information you are comfortable sharing.
  • Use clear fonts and avoid excessive colours or decorative formatting.
  • Keep logos and photographs small.
  • Remember that some email programs may block images until the recipient allows them.
  • Send a test email to yourself or another address to confirm that your signature and images display correctly.
  • Check how your signature appears on both desktop and mobile devices.

Please note: These instructions apply to Veteran10 Webmail. If you use Outlook, Apple Mail, or another email application, signatures may need to be configured separately in that application.
