Create Your Veteran10 Email Signature
Your Veteran10 Webmail account allows you to create a personalized email signature that can automatically appear at the bottom of messages you send.
Your signature can include information such as your name, Veteran10 email address, telephone number, organization, position or other contact information.
Create Your Email Signature
- Sign in to your Veteran10 Webmail account.
- Select Settings from the Webmail menu.
- Select Identities.
- Select your Veteran10 email account.
- Find the Signature field.
- Enter the information you would like included in your signature.
- Click Save.
Your signature can then be automatically included with messages you send from Webmail. We also provide signature-related options under the Webmail Composing Messages settings.
You can make your signature as simple or as detailed as you prefer. In most cases, a short signature containing your name and preferred contact information works best.
Formatting Your Signature
If you would like to use formatted text in your signature, enable the HTML option for the identity/signature.
HTML formatting allows Webmail to support richer formatting rather than a plain-text-only signature.
Keep formatting relatively simple. Email signatures can appear differently depending on the email program or device being used.
Adding a Logo or Photograph
Veteran10 Webmail supports HTML email signatures. Instructions for adding a logo or photograph to your signature are currently being developed and tested.
Until that process has been tested, we recommend creating your text signature first.
If you would like to include a logo, photograph or other image in your Veteran10 signature, please contact Veteran10 Support for assistance.
Change or Remove Your Signature
You can return to:
Settings → Identities → Your Veteran10 Account at any time to edit your signature.
To remove it completely, delete the contents of the Signature field and click Save.
A Few Signature Tips
- Keep your signature reasonably short.
- Include only contact information you are comfortable sharing.
- Avoid very large photographs or logos.
- Remember that some recipients block external images by default.
- Send yourself a test message after creating your signature to see how it appears.
- Check both a desktop and mobile device if you use your Veteran10 email professionally.
